Our Top 5 Pet-Friendly Indoor Plants

In the spirit of curing those winter blues, we have been looking into adding some greenery to our houses. It turned out to be more involved than we originally thought it would be...

Which is why we have curated this selection of our favorite houseplants that are both easy to care for as well as non-toxic to your beloved pets! Check out why we love each one and comment below with your favorite indoor houseplants that are also pet friendly!

  1. Bamboo Palm – We love how refreshing this one keeps our homes, and we especially love the greenness in our house during these dreary winter months!

  2. Cushion Aloe – Who doesn’t love a plant that prefers you forget to water them every now and then? We sure do! This guy keeps going even when it doesn’t see much sunlight, or if you left for the weekend and forgot to ask the pet sitter to give it a splash!

  3. Spider Plant – A plant that is considered by many as the easiest houseplant to grow AND it’s safe for the pets? Count us in!

  4. Grape Ivy – We love that this plant prefers to be a hanging plany, adding some height to our room décor. Although it is non-toxic to our pets, it’s nice to know that this one won’t be as bothered as floor level plants might be.

  5. Christmas Cactus – We love our greens, but it is wonderful to have the flowering to brighten up our space! Another simple care option that leaves you with a gorgeous décor piece.

Did we forget your favorite houseplant? Leave us a comment and let us know what plants you're tending to this winter!
